Marian Kamla David went to be with the Lord on February 22nd 2023 at 2:50pm. She was born on May 21st 1934 to Benjamin and Louisa Charles Ratti in Hyderabad, Pakistan. In the earlier years of her life she studied at St. Lawrence Boarding school in Karachi, Pakistan. She later went to Lady Dufferin where she studied and trained as a Nurse.
Marian met her husband Alfred David at Christ Church where he sang in the church choir. They fell in love and got married on June 16th 1958. They went on to have five children, Rosemary, Anita, Rowena, Samuel and Colette.
Marian lost her husband Alfred David in August of 1989. She came to Boston, Massachusetts in 1994 for the birth of one of her grandchildren. Later, she became a U.S. citizen in 2005.
Marian loved to knit and crochet. In her free time she knitted lots of sweaters, hats and baby clothes for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Marian was loving, caring, hardworking and a great cook. She always went out of her way to help her family and friends. She lived a full life and passed at the age of 88. She was loved by all and she will be deeply missed.
Marian is survived by her five children, sixteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
