Ly Tuyet Mai

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Lý Tuyết Mai, Dharma Name Thanh Lương, who passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026, at the age of 93.

Born in Vietnam, Mai dedicated her life to her family. She was a loving mother whose strength, hard work, and sacrifices helped provide opportunities for future generations. Through good times and difficult times, she always put her family first. Her greatest joy was watching her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren grow and succeed.

Mai will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. She taught by example, showing the importance of hard work, humility, and caring for others. Her presence brought comfort and strength to those around her, and her memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, Nancy Nga Thanh Châu, Judy Thanh Châu Tsang, Christine Châu, Jeremy Châu and wife Lê Châu, and Tâm Châu and husband Hảo Nguyễn.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Matthew Lê and wife Paola Lê, Michael Lê, Michelle Lê, Martin Lê, Jonathan Trần and Shauna Apodaca, Jennifer Trần and Louis Payne III, Jessica Bangal and husband Jestoni Bangal, Mariah Châu Tsang, Joshua Châu, Jayden Châu, Jacob Châu, Huệy Nguyễn, and Haily Nguyễn.

She was blessed with ten great-grandchildren, Ace Lê, Nalany Lê, Emma Lê, Oliver Lê, Enzo Trần, Jayda Turner, Louis Payne IV, Jocelyn Bangal, Emiko Bangal, and Jedison Bangal.

Though she is no longer with us, the love she gave, the lessons she taught, and the family she raised will continue to be her lasting legacy.

As a devoted Buddhist, we pray that she may find peace and happiness in the Pure Land.
