Elk Grove

Lynn Ann Nichalson (maiden name Nilsson), born May 20, 1957, passed away on April 2, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was a devoted wife to Lance Nichalson, a loving mother to Luana Griffin and Desiree Nichalson, and a caring stepmother to Lance Nichalson Jr. She was a proud grandmother to Aisling and Virginia Griffin.

She is also survived by her siblings, Charles, Michelle, Adelle, and David. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Ann Nilsson, and her father, Charles Henry Nilsson.

Lynn lived a deeply loving and abundant life, filled with laughter, creativity, and meaningful moments. She found joy in many passions, including sewing, painting, knitting, archery, bowling, and more—each one a reflection of the care and intention she poured into the world around her. Her presence brought warmth, light, and comfort to those fortunate enough to know her.

Her strength and perseverance carried her through life’s many challenges, leaving behind a legacy of resilience, love, and grace. As we reflect on the beautiful life she lived, may we be reminded to move forward with courage, to cherish each moment, and to find light even in difficult times. May we carry her spirit with us—in laughter, in love, and in the quiet strength she showed every day.

Though she is no longer with us in the physical world, her love remains eternal. She will be deeply missed and forever held in our hearts.
