Linda Sue Doose

March 18, 1946 — April 15, 2022

Please join us in celebrating the life and loss of Linda Sue Doose, an amazing woman who stepped lightly through life, but left her tender footprint with all of us. We invite each of you to keep Linda alive in your hearts. We were each touched by her presence and we are better because of that. This is not goodbye, but a see you later as Linda truly believed that Jehovah’s promise of an everlasting paradise would be where she would rejoin all of her loved ones again.

In one of her many Notebooks of stories, Linda said, “When I am gone, do not be sad, do not wear black but instead wear bright colors and be happy that I will be in Jehovah’s new system waiting to see you again.”

Linda grew up in Mountain View, Oklahoma. She met and fell in love with Ken Doose while in high school in Amarillo Texas and the two were married in 1963.

She and Ken moved to California and started their family in the Bay Area.

They moved back to Texas then finally settled in Sacramento, California where they raised their three children.

When the kids grew older, Linda took a job with the state and finally retired as an Executive Secretary for the California EPA.

Linda was a patient and loving woman. She always shed a bright light on things even when the clouds seemed dark. She was a devoted wife and mother and the most important things to her were family and Her faith.

She always did her best to be there for her husband Ken, her children; Kenney and Michael, Deborah and husband Duane and her grandchildren; Jordan, Logan, Breadan, Nathaniel and Daniel and many nieces nephews and her brother and sisters.

Linda loved speaking to others about her faith, she loved animals, her pets, camping in Yosemite, the outdoors and writing poetry and stories about her life and memories.
She loved talking to and seeing her family as often as she could and did.
She was kind to everyone that she met and always had a nice word to say.

You were one of a kind, and we all love you so much. We will be forever at a loss without you. If anyone deserves to be in paradise, it is you.

See you there! ,
