Linda Alice Snyder, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her beloved husband, William John Snyder, her daughter, Chelsea Snyder and granddaughter, Rosalinda Ramirez and son-in-law Rafael Ramirez.
Linda Alice Bednar-Snyder was born September 17, 1959 in Sacramento, California where she spent her childhood. Linda and Bill grew up on the same street.
Linda Graduated from John F. Kennedy High School Class of 1977. She also attended Cosumnes River College-General 1977-1979.
Linda was a dedicated, hard worker. She worked at Proctor and Gamble for 25 years. She was hired March 1980 and retired April 2005. She worked for the State of California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Case Records Analyst for 10 years from 2005 - October 31, 2015 when she retired. She worked 2 years at Elk Grove Unified School District Food Services and decided to leave to take care of her granddaughter Rosalinda.
Linda and her daughter Chelsea got Baptized at Impact Church in Sacramento, CA on June 20, 2015, by Jessica Burke.
Linda always planned our trips months and months in advance. She always had us on a time schedule. she wanted to make sure we got to see everything. Her favorite trips were always going to Maui. She had great friends that live on Maui. She loved Disneyland, Universal studios Hollywood, Bodega Bay, Dillon Beach and Santa Cruz. Linda was the best tour guide to travel with.
Linda loved taking care of her granddaughter Rosalinda. She loved taking her to school, doing homework, swimming lessons, karate classes and story time. She loved being around family.
Linda is with her loving mother, Doris and her sister, Laurie, her aunt's Irene and Ruth. I know Linda and those girls are having fun in heaven.
