Linda K. (Duzan) Hackett

Linda Kay (Duzan) Hackett, 75, of Woodland, California passed away peacefully on July 26th, 2022 in Sacramento, California, with her children by her side and the sun shining on her face.

Linda was born on May 18th, 1947 in Paris, Illinois and moved with her family to Woodland, California in 1959. Linda married the love of her life, Dennis (Denny) Harry Hackett in 1967 and they remained together for 52 years full of family, travel, adventure, love, and friendship.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Denny, who passed away in 2019; her grandson, Harry James Hackett, who passed away in 2021; her parents, Larry and Catherine Duzen; and Duzan siblings Don, Peggy, Tom, and recently, Phil.

She is survived by her children; sons Dennis Hackett Jr., Michael Hackett, and Patrick Hackett; daughters Adriane Hackett-Smith and Katherine Hackett; and siblings and in-laws, Joe and
Heather Duzan and Betty and Art Smith.

She leaves her legacy in her 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

Linda’s Memorial Service will be held on August 7th, 2022, at 3:30 P.M., at East Lawn Memorial Park in Sacramento, California; reception to follow.
