Lilia Boone passed away on April 27th, 2023. She was 90 years old. Lilia died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved daughter of Marciano and Concepcion. She entered the world in 1932.
Lilia completed her high school education in the city of Cavite, as well as attending a secretarial school, Martyr's Secretarial Organization. She completed the course on October 30, 1953. Shortly thereafter, she met and married Martin Marcel Boone on May 11, 1955. They enjoyed seeing much of the world as a Naval military couple before becoming the proud parents of 5 children- Phillip, Pamela, Marty, Mike and Ernest. She was a beloved mother and loyal wife till the death of her husband, Martin, on March 11, 2019.
Lilia enjoyed a brief career at National Semi-Conductor in Sunnyvale, California, before learning Bible truth as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was a very zealous publisher of the Good News and served the Milpitas Filipino Congregation as a regular pioneer minister for several years. She helped many to become baptized, faithful, witnesses of Jehovah. She also served in the Cameron Park congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Lilia enjoyed traveling, bowling, playing scrabble, and cooking for her steadily growing family. She is survived by her 5 children, 18 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren, as well as her 3 younger siblings, Linda, Melchor, and Nanette and their families.
Lilia is preceded in death by her parents, her oldest brother, Boy, and two sisters, Delane and Lumen, her beloved husband, Martin, and her granddaughter, Ciera. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
