Laurie Gail Kazemian

Laurie was born to Robert & Laura Kvick in Stockton CA on November 16, 1953. After Laurie graduated Del Campo High School she went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. 

She worked as a court reporter and taught shorthand at Laney College in Oakland CA. During this time Laurie married her soul mate, Majid Kazemian on Oct 30th 1981. While living in San Francisco, Laurie held an Administrative Assistant position at University of San Francisco & University of California: Davis. Laurie and Majid moved to the surrounding Sacramento area in 1989 where Laurie stepped into the real estate field and obtained a real estate license. Laurie had Real Estate ventures in Sacramento, South Lake Tahoe, Park City UT, & Salt Lake City UT. 

After building her real estate portfolio and many businesses including Pampered Chef and Neora, Laurie spent her later years enjoying nature walks with her dogs, lounging at her cabin in Tahoe or enjoying quality time with friends and family. Laurie will be remembered for her contagious laughter, humor, and love for all living creatures! 

Survived by her husband Majid Kazemian as well as her brothers Robert (Cindy), Jorgen (Marcella) and sister Kimberly (Tony) her sister-in-law Farzaneh (Akbar) as well as her niece Soufieh & nephews Jordan, Kyle, Zack, Bryce. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Laura Kvick and her mother-in-law Mali and brother-in-law Javad. Celebration of Laurie’s life will be held on Jan 9th at 1pm followed by a private service at the East Lawn. Contact family for details.
