On July 4th, 2023, God called His daughter Lar Her back to Heaven and she passed away peacefully at her home in Sacramento, California surrounded by family at her side.
Lar was born on April 28, 1961 in the village of Dong Ving in Laos. She arrived in the United States in Long Beach, California with her two younger brothers Long and Sam in 1979. In 1981, she married Chong Tou Her and they both raised 2 daughters, Irene and Elizabeth and 3 sons, Bee, Kevin, and Chai in Dallas, Texas. The entire family eventually moved to California and settled in Sacramento.
Lar was baptized in Laos and continued to build her relationship with Christ throughout her life. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
Lar is survived by her 2 daughters Irene and her husband Randy and Elizabeth and her husband Leng. Her 3 sons, Bee and his wife Elaine, Kevin and his wife Ia, and Chai and his wife Neng. Lar is survived by her 19 grandchildren; Phillip, Odyssey and her husband Noah,Tyson, Alaris, Kassen, Ella, Aven, Levi, Matthew, Kou, Andy, Kimberly, Kayla and her husband Kyle, Aniviah, Zon, Christian and his wife Summer, Katalina, Brandon, and Nicholas. Lar is survived by her 2 great grandchildren, Sawyer and most recently Celine. Lar is also survived by her 2 younger brothers, Long and Sam and their families. Lar left a legacy of devotion to her family and to her faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
