Kyle Huston Hoover passed away surrounded by his family on August 12, 2021. He was born December 14, 1986 in Sacramento. Kyle is preceded in death by his grandfather Robert Hoover and his grandparents Ray and Kit Huston. He is survived by his father Phil Hoover, his step-mother Karen McCready Hoover and his mother Susan Huston. He is also survived by his grandmother Barbara Burt, his Aunt Julie Hoover Neumann and numerous cousins and countless friends.
Kyle lived in Elk Grove and Modesto as he grew up. He eventually moved to San Francisco to follow his passion for music. At a young age Kyle was drawn to music playing the violin, bass guitar and keyboards. He was a member of many bands including Ganglians, Tiaras, Fine Steps, Friendless Summer and Part Human. Kyle was an amazingly talented musician and found himself traveling the world while performing his unique talent on the guitar. He will be missed by many in the music industry.
Kyle loved music, animals, nature, Star Wars and his family. He was a kind and gentle man who touched everyone he came in contact with. He will be remembered for his loving, down to earth demeanor and sweet smile. He is now playing his guitar at the biggest show and smiling down on us all!
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made in Kyleâs name to the Amy Winehouse Foundation, as a way to support youth struggling with mental heath and substance abuse issues.
