Born September 30, 1964 in Sacramento, California. Passed away December 13, 2022 in Sacramento, California. He was focused on helping others obtain immigration status during his 20 year career as an Immigration Attorney until he medically retired in 2020.
Until his health began to fail, he enjoyed trips to San Francisco and Mount Shasta, photographing nature and sometimes even capturing spirit orbs. He loved searching for vintage and antique books, cooking, driving his car, and watching every season of House MD and The Middle at least once a month. He also loved hiking, foraging for morel mushrooms, and adding to his rock and mineral collection.
During Kevin's younger years, he loved family trips to Bodega Bay - fishing, crabbing and clam digging, was an avid bowler along with playing and traveling with a rock band.
Kevin was a graduate of Foothill High School in 1982; earned an AA Degree at American River College; graduated from Lincoln Law School in 1997; and, was admitted to the State Bar November 20, 2000.
Kevin was truly an animal lover leaving behind Lilo (dog), Richard Parker (cat) and Kasyapa (tortoise).
He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years: Pam; his mother, Joyce Knutson; and his sister, Debra Knutson, all of Sacramento.
Kevin was preceded in death by: his father, Holger Knutson: grandparents Ruth/Ernest Winkelman; and, Dorothy Burgess.
