Kenneth Roy Davis, Jr

February 21, 1958 — November 5, 2022

On Saturday, November 5, 2022, Kenneth Roy Davis, Jr, a beloved husband, son, brother, father of three and grandfather of four, passed away quickly after learning he had brain cancer, at the age of 64.

Ken was born February 21, 1958 in Red Bluff, CA to Eleanor and Ken Davis, Sr. then moved to San Francisco for his early upbringing. The family later relocated to South San Francisco, where he graduated from South San Francisco High School in 1976.

Ken obtained a computer programming certificate from Bryman School of Data Processing, and worked for UPS, Sega, Sony, PlayStation, DHL, and Choice Logistics, as a Supply Chain Professional. He had an affinity for spreadsheets and inventory management.

Ken had a zest for life and everyone loved him. His gruff baritone voice was such a distinguishing trait, along with his captivating blue eyes. He was humble and fun-loving, and beloved by all. He loved watching and playing sports, particularly hockey, bowling, baseball, and football. Golf was his passion and he was looking forward to retiring in 3 months so he could hit the green more often at his beloved Sequoia Woods Country Club and with the Putters golf group to which he belonged for decades.

Ken is survived by his mother, Eleanor Canova-Davis, brother Jeff Davis, daughters Samantha (Norberto) Nunes and Grace Prentice, son Scott Davis, and four grandchildren Leon Prentice, Jack Prentice, Brenton Nunes and Brixton Nunes, and wife of 7 years, Diana Davis.

Memorial services are being planned for February 2023 in Daly City, CA and Arnold, CA.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to the Glioblastoma Foundation at glioblastomafoundation.org.
