Julie Diane Roelofs

Julie Diane Roelofs, age 60, passed away in Roseville, California at Oakridge Care Facility on August 9, 2023. Julie was born on September 23, 1962 in Compton, California to John and Ginger Rutledge and is the oldest of five children. She is survived by her husband Jim Roelofs and daughter Ever Roelofs.

Julie lived a life full of experiences and adventures. In 1974, her and her family moved to Placed County and this is where she spent the remainder of her life. In her early years, and even into adulthood, she could be seen riding horses and taking care of all sorts of farm animals. As Julie got older she re-met Jim Roelofs, who she first met when she moved to Placer County. Julie and Jim married in July of 1987. They built their homes together and spent lots of time outdoors; camping, around water, and taking care of more animals. In 2005, Julie and Jim started their family and adopted their daughter Ever.

Julie was a kind and loving woman. Her nieces and nephews always wanted to spend time with their Aunt Juju; riding horses and doing arts and crafts. She always had something to do with them. She was known for her love of her family, her love of animals, and her joking personality. Everyday with Julie was filled with laughter and lots of smiles.
