In Loving Memory of Joziah McGowan

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joziah McGowan, who tragically lost his life in a house fire on December 29, 2024, at the age of 14.

Joziah was a sweet and courageous young man who faced the challenges of autism with strength and resilience. He found joy in playing video games, where his creativity and passion truly came alive. Joziah was in the process of building a stronger relationship with his father, Leon McGowan, and was excited about the future they were beginning to share.

He is survived by his loving mother, Angel Reynolds; his devoted father, Leon McGowan; his siblings, Katelynn Reynolds, Micah McGowan, and Omrieal McGowan; and a host of extended family and friends who will deeply miss him.

A memorial service to celebrate Joziah’s life will be held on Sunday January 12th at East Lawn on Greenback

Though his time with us was brief, Joziah’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His spirit will continue to inspire and be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
