Jose Rey A. De Jesus was born on October 19, 1952 in Caloocan City, Philippines. He was the fourth of six children of Sergio and Corazon De Jesus. He is survived by his beloved wife Susan, his son Raymonn (Isa) De Jesus and his daughter Sharon (Frank) Jimenez. He was a wonderful Lolo to five grandchildren, Mia (16), Joaquin (9), Tristan (7), Eliseo (4), and Andres (3). In addition to his wife, children and grandchildren, he is survived by his siblings Bien (Linda) De Jesus, Corazon (Tomasito) Ramos, Lourdes Dela Cruz, Victor (Rachel) De Jesus and Roy De Jesus.
He worked for 30 years as a supervisor for the United States Postal Service. He received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science/Accounting from the University of the East in Manila, Philippines. His hobbies included gardening and rooting for the Sacramento Kings and New York Yankees. He was also a loving caretaker to his grandpups Jack, Mamba and Kobe. He loved singing, gathering with his treasured friends, and caring for his grandchildren. He dedicated his life to public service in the community with the Maharlika Lions Club and Cabalen Club Ning Sacramento.
