1941 – 2025

Joe was born in Reedley California on February 6, 1941, to James and Josephine Nicholas. He peacefully passed away on April 17, 2025, in Elk Grove California.

Joe is survived by his children; son’s David (Stefanie), Don (Erica), Dan (Michelle) and daughter Debbie Crump (Tal), grandchildren; Taylor O’Neill (Jack), Mason Crump, Heston Nicholas, Bronson Nicholas, Madison Nicholas, and Morgan Nicholas, sisters; Nickie Nicholas and Joann Shay, sister-in-laws; Bertie Nicholas and Nancy Heston; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and cherished friends. He was proceeded in death by his loving wife of 23 years Linda, parents James and Josephine Nicholas, brothers James Jr and David Nicholas, brother-in-laws; Ed and Ted Heston and Pinky Shay.

Service information is as follows:

The viewing will be held on April 28, 2025, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at East Lawn, located at 9189 E. Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on April 29, 2025, at 10:00am at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, located at 8720 Florin Rd, Sacramento.

The Interment will be held at East Lawn, located at 9189 E. Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove.
