Jo Ann Schaetzl

Jo Ann Schaetzl passed away peacefully on Thursday June 20,2024. She was born to Joseph and Ruth Schaetzl in Queens NY March 1, 1949. She grew up in Beacon NY and graduated from Lady Cliff Academy in 1967. She married in 1972 and moved to California where she had a daughter in 1976.

Jo Ann retired in 2015 after working as an office manger for a bridge building contractor. After retiring she enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. She worked for the Sacramento River Cats during the 2022 and 2023 baseball season. She also was a volunteer at the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop.

Jo Ann is survived by her daughter and son in law Carrie and Brian Benyuska and her two granddaughters Kylie and Abby Benyuska. Along with her brother and sister in law Robert and Rose Schaetzl.
