Jo Ann Baser

On August 25, 2022 at the age 82 our beloved Jo Ann Baser passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Canton, Ohio and later moved to Lincoln, CA. JoAnn was one of three children born to Joseph and Emma Tanner Paiement. She was a striking young woman full of grace with a passion for life. She was crowned Miss Armed Forces from 1957 to 1958.

On October 1, 1960 she married the love of her life, Hershel Baser.  Together they spent nearly 62 wonderful years married. She loved life and loved spending time with her amazing children, grandchildren and great grandchild. Her life was full of wonderful family memories and rich friendships. Jo Ann’s other favorite past times were going to eat at Buffet’s and playing Bingo. She was known for her glamour and loved to accessorize.

Jo Ann is survived by her husband, Hershel Baser, Sr., Loving children; Son, Hershel F. Baser, Jr., Daughter, Stephanie L. (Curtis) Knowles, and Son, Craig Baser. Along with her Beloved grandchildren;  Grandson, Jordan C. Baser-Torres, Grandson, Tyler J. Knowles,  Grandson, Justin G. Baser, Granddaughter, Carley M. Knowles and dearest Great-granddaughter, Luciana Torres, along with other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Alice Wright, and her brother Joe Paiement.

Her life was a blessing, her love was a treasure, she is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
