In his youth, Jeff lived in Hawaii; Jacksonville, Fl; Norfolk, VA; before moving to Sunnyvale, CA in 1959.
In 1968 Jeffery graduated from Luther Burbank High School, Sacramento, CA. He attended Sacramento City College, majoring in law-enforcement, prior to being drafted by the US Army. After his Army career he continued his education at San Francisco State University.

Jeff was a quiet man, with quick wit and sense of humor, enjoyed amusing pranks, especially on his sisters. He loved dogs and was always holding the family pet in photographs. In adulthood, he found dogs in need and gave them a loving home. Although Jeff had no children, he was a proud and loving uncle. He always brought special toys or education projects for his nephews and niece.
Jeff would travel from the Bay Area, to be at all family holidays and events. We all enjoyed the sweet bakery treats he’d add to the festivities.
He lived and worked many years in Santa Clara, CA as a self-employed owner of a pool and spa service.
Jeff passed away peacefully in his sleep of natural causes, in his home in Santa Cruz County, CA on 30 January 2022, aged 73 years 1 month and 2 days.
