Jane Irwin passed away peacefully in Sacramento on December 8, 2021. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Jim Irwin, parents, Louise K. Brown and William Wallace Brown, and brother, Bill Brown. She is survived by her son, Ken Irwin, daughter-in-law, Debi Irwin, and grandson, Connor Irwin. Born in Erie, Pennsylvania, she was a proud graduate of Ohio State University. She, at one time, was a part-owner of D.O. Mills Restaurant and an Old Sacramento candy store. She was a longtime Office Manager for York Orthodontics, where she met her closest friend, Leslie Wallace and her family, Bruce, Rachel, and Mark Wallace. Jane had a great passion for crafting, sewing, and quilting; she was known for her handmade greeting cards. She was a longtime supporter of The Sacramento Zoo and KVIE. Although she has left this Earth in body, her spirit will live with us forever, engrained in our hearts and souls with the wonderful memories of a life well-lived. In lieu of flowers, kindly donate to either of Jane's favorite causes, The Sacramento Zoo Foundation or The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
