James Thomas Woliver born to Sid and Jessie Woliver April 9, 1948 in Vallejo, CA. Passed away on June 5, 2022. Jim lived most of his life in Yolo and Sacramento Counties. He graduated from El Camino High where he played clarinet in the marching band. He also enjoyed singing with his sister and "granny" as a kid and later with his son and friends. Jim and his devoted partner Cheri, loved working alongside each other at the NiteHawk, cooking and entertaining their customers who they felt were family. His tacos could not be beat! The daily newspaper was a must so he could do the jumbles and NY Times crossword. He was quite a master at it.
Jim loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting with his brother Dean and all the family and friends that they could get to go along. He was also an avid golfer who never turned down a friendly wager or missed watching the majors.
With so much intelligence, charisma and wit, he was a natural in any social gathering. He was a kind, caring, gregarious man with a big heart and he will truly be missed.
Jim's son and sister would like to thank Bree, Mikey, Bert, Karen, Bristol Hospice, and Chaplain Brian for their relentless support.
Preceded in death by his nephew and niece David and Dawn, companion Cheri, and younger brother Dean. He leaves behind his son Tom "TJ", sister Sherron and husband Tom Lang, sister Tami, sister and husband Patty and Bill Bowen, brother Dan Cowen, sister in law Debbie, two nieces and four nephews.
