Bonnie was born on June 24, 1937, in Rupert, Idaho to Joseph Ray Teal and Cecila Eleanor Gauvey. She married Wallace Edward LeMay on April 25, 1953, together they had four daughters, Kathryn Ilene LeMay, Rhonda Lynn Wagner, Michelle Denise Wells, and Kimberly Elizabeth Meister. She was mother-in-law to Mark Wells, Claire Wagner and Dennis Meister. Grandmother to Dan Wells, Matthew Hayden, John Hayden, Brad Wagner, Amanda Wagner, and Jacob Meister, and ten great grandchildren. She was sister to Cora Leasher and favorite Auntie to many nieces and nephews.
Bonnie’s most beloved career was the cafeteria manager at James Rutter Jr. High School where she met her best friend, Willa Mae Diggs. Bonnie and Willa remained friends for over 60 years. Bonnie loved to sew, she was a fantastic cook and taught all her grandchildren to play Yahtzee, Aggravation, and Dominoes. She was an avid reader and devoured every book John Grisham wrote, she shared her love of reading with her only granddaughter, Amanda.
Bonnie is known for her kindness, generosity, and fantastic sense of humor. She made every Christmas magical for her family and loved her role in life as Grandma (aka Granny).
