Helen Elizabeth Liegerot

Helen Liegerot, 99 years young, passed away on April 9, 2026 in Sacramento, California. 

Helen was born in Sacramento to Margaret and Payton Cottongim. She married Giles Liegerot on November 29, 1947 in Sacramento. She worked as an AGPA for several departments at the State of California for 30 years. She was involved in a local bowling league and volunteered at Methodist Hospital for over 20 years, where she received several honors for her length of service. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Giles, her parent's, and her four sisters, Ruth Clark, Bonnie Mello, Edith Gray and Margorie Johnston. 

Helen is survived by her children, Daniel Liegerot, Timothy Liegerot, and Patricia Orosz, and her granddaughter, Tallulah Orosz. 

The family of Helen wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Landy and Vivianne for making her feel beautiful, and to Stephanie Barber for her compassion and care of Helen in her final days.
