Hau Trung Le

On Tuesday, August 9, 2022, Hau T. Le, a loving and dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, entered the eternal life at the age of 87.

Hau was born on July 5, 1935, in Phan Thiet, Vietnam, to Hung Trung Le and Hai Thi Nguyen, as one of the twin brothers.  He went to Saigon at a young age for education.  Hau graduated from the University of Science in chemistry, married his beloved wife, Anh Thi Ta, in 1970.  They raised two daughters, Alyssa and Jeanelle, and immigrated to the United States in 1990.

Hau was quiet, very hardworking, detail oriented, helpful, and gentle.  He loved to read newspapers and talked to his friends and family in person or via phone daily. 

Family was the most important virtue to Hau.  He and his wife did everything they could in Vietnam and in the US to make sure their daughters do well in school and complete their higher education.  He worked extremely hard at various jobs.  He did not mind the hardship of the jobs, the early hours, or the weather, so long as he could provide for his family, raise his children to grow up having a better life than his was.

Hau was preceded in death by his parents and wife.  He is survived by two children, four grandchildren (Nicholas, Jonathan, Lan, and Quang), his brothers (Duc, Hien), and several nieces, and nephews.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2022, at East Lawn Memorial Park at 4300 Folsom Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95819, from 8 – 11 am, followed immediately by cremation at 11 am.
