Glendon Maurice Brosnan Jr., affectionately known as “Morry” by family or “Mr. Glen” by his school friends, passed away peacefully at Kaiser South Sacramento Medical Center on November 12, 2025, at the age of 67 due to complications with double hit lymphoma.
He was a devoted, loving son, father, husband, brother, and cherished friend. Faith and service were a cornerstone of Morry’s life. From the time when he served his mission with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Chicago as a young man, to serving his country in the Navy (1984-1988), to his final career as a paraeducator serving special needs children, he strived to treat everyone as a valued child of God. He was always happy to help out a friend, family member, or anyone else in need of support.
Morry leaves behind his wife, Denise; his daughter, Emma; his stepdaughter, Marianne and her family; his mother, Helen; his father, Glendon (Senior); his sisters, Laurie and Crystal, and their families; and His Brothers, Aaron and Micah, and their families.
His kind spirit will be missed terribly by his family and friends near and far. Although Morry's physical presence will no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth his legacy of love and compassion in all that we do, so his light will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 6711 Seasons Drive, Elk Grove, CA 95758.
If you would like to honor his life through a memorial, contributions may be made to his favorite charity, Operation Underground Railroad, or the Lymphoma Research Foundation.
