Georgeann Hitchcock

Georgeann Hitchcock passed away on March 19, 2025 at the age of 96. She enjoyed a long and fulfilling life in Sacramento, CA. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Georgeann was the ultimate “homemaker”. She maintained a lovely home and was a talented cook, baker, gardener and seamstress.

She was married to Jack Hitchcock for 72 years and raised three children, John, Sally and Betsy as well as many dogs and cats. She was always there for her kids and made sure to celebrate their achievements and milestones which provided plenty of happy memories.

She is survived by her daughters Sally Hitchcock and Betsy Hitchcock; grandson Justin Hitchcock; son-in-law Gary Baldwin; and daughters-in-law, Cynthia Tidball and Laurie Tribbey as well as numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hitchcock and her son, John Hitchcock.
