George Justice Hollenbeck III, born on New Year's Day in 1948 in Sacramento, CA, and passed away peacefully in his home October 21st 2024, surrounded by loved ones. A beloved father and grandfather, he is survived by his daughters Hilary Buchanan and Ashley Hollenbeck, son-in-laws Ryan Buchanan and Nick Botto, and his cherished granddaughter Bailey Buchanan. George’s educational journey began at Sutterville Elementary School, continued at Sam Brannan Middle School, and culminated with his graduation from CK McClatchy High School's class of 1966. His sense of humor and quick wit made him the life of every gathering, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him. Throughout his career, George made significant contributions in the fields of marketing and advertising. He also turned his passion into entrepreneurship, owning two video stores and a framing shop that served the community with pride. George adored Lake Tahoe, where he spent countless joyful moments at his family built cabin in Homewood, CA, creating lasting memories with family and friends. He touched the hearts of so many people and was an absolute joy to be around. His laughter and spirit will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. We take comfort in the beautiful memories he leaves behind and will hold him close in our hearts.
