Our beloved husband, dad, grandpa, and friend, Frank L. Sapigao, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, at the age of 76.
Frank was born on January 26, 1949, in Yuma, Arizona, and spent most of his life in Sacramento, California. He was the eldest of five siblings. Frank served honorably in the U.S. Army when he was drafted during the Vietnam war. He is preceded in death by his parents, Grace and Francisco, and his sister, Beverly. He is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Cindy; his children, Valerie (Rich, Blake, Rebekah), Megan (Kenneth, Graham, Emmanuelle) and Mathew; and his three brothers and their families. He loved to play baseball and golf, go fishing and hunting with his son and brothers, play cards at the casino, bowling, and many other hobbies. He was good at everything he did, and never turned down a chance to teach his kids and grandkids how to do things like tie a fishing knot, shoot pool, deal cards, or play chess. Frank was also a lifelong Sacramento Kings fan.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 20 at 2pm at East Lawn in Elk Grove (9189 E Stockton Blvd) to honor and celebrate Frank’s life. Family and friends are invited to join us in remembering the wonderful man he was.
