Francis Miles Goss

Rancho Cordova , CA — Francis “Frank” Goss passed away on February 2, 2023 at the age of 89. He was proud of being nearly 90! He was born April 13,1933 in Tremonton, Utah to Alice Adams and Miles William
Goss. He is a graduate of Grant Union High School and CSU, Sacramento. Frank was proud to have served in
the Air Force during the Korean War as an aircraft mechanic. He began his teaching career at Mills Junior High in1959 before transferring to Cordova High in 1963. He received 2 Fulbright Scholarships that took him to Lebanon and India. Teaching was his passion. He retired in1990. Frank is preceded in death by his loving wife, PollyAnn; parents, Alice and Mike; sister, Connie Jean Miller; and granddaughter Jessica Brading. He is survived by children Ginny (Gary Funamura), Robert, and Diana Brading (David), 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held February 17, 2023 at11 AM East Lawn Mortuary 5757 Greenback Lane. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
