Eugene Tomas London

On the morning of December 4, 2022, Eugene Tomas London of Carmichael passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 56. Eugene was the eldest child of Dave and Rachel London, born in 1966.  He was a lifelong Carmichael area resident.  After graduating from El Camino High School in 1984, he attended American River College to study Fire Science and received his EMT certification in 1992.  Gene was lucky enough to have the opportunity to travel to Europe many times with family.  These travels sparked a lifetime love of German food and beer!  Gene also had a fascination with Volkswagens and his first car was a Volkswagen bug, which the family still owns today.  Gene enjoyed cooking, and is well known for working at DiCicco’s Italian Restaurant as the Head Cook/Manager until they closed in 2004.

Eugene met Nanette Snow in 2001 and they were married in 2009.   They enjoyed traveling and having fun with friends and family.  Eugene was probably one of the nicest persons you could hope to meet.  He had the biggest smile and kindest heart and would do anything to help out a friend.

Eugene leaves behind a loving family: his wife, Nanette, his son, Eric, his step-daughter, Megan (Brian), his parents, Dave and Rachel, his siblings, David Brian and Louise (Christopher), his nephew and nieces, Alexander (Miranda), Isabelle, Jasmine and Jordyn and a very large extended family.

In lieu of flowers, friends are invited to contribute a donation to Front Street Animal Shelter in Eugene’s name.
