Ernestine “Tina” Contreras, died peacefully of natural causes in her home on September 21st, 2024 at the age of 80.

Ernestine was born on September 13th, 1944 in LosAngeles, CA. She was a retired Bilingual Teacher’s Associate with the Sacramento City Unified School District.

Ernestine was preceded in death by her husband Manuel, and two infant daughters Carol Ann and Mary Ann.

Ernestine is survived by her sisters Mary Lou (Jesse) and Yolanda (Angie); her children Barbara (Steve), Monica, and Elena (Michael – deceased); stepdaughter Mary (Tom); 7 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

We will cherish the memories we have of her love for singing and dancing.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
