Erma Jean ( Snookie) Soulier-Johnson, 87, of Woodland, California passed away at Kaiser Hospital in South Sacramento on Tuesday, December 5th, 2023. Erma Jean (Snookie), to all who knew and loved her, was born in Woodland, California on November 20th, 1936, to Eugene Soulier I and Erma June (Nanie) Soulier. She was married to Cecil Glen Johnson on July 2 , 1955. Erma Jean is also survived by her son Richard Johnson and his wife Lorrinda. Her daughter Denise Wesleder and her husband Ray Kapahi, Two Grandchildren, Brandon Stoudt and Briana Wesleder. Two Great grandchildren Haley and Michael Daniels. Her brother Michael Anthony (Tony) Soulier. Erma Jean was proceeded in death by both of her parents, father, Eugene Soulier I and mother, Erma (Nanie) Soulier, her husband Cecil Johnson, her son Donald Johnson, son-in-law Drexel Wesleder, and Granddaughter Brandy Lee Stoudt.
Erma Jean graduated at Woodland High School in 1955, with a class she loved and always kept in touch with. She worked at Yolo (Woodland) Ice and Creamery in Woodland, California, where she was Office Manager. She worked very hard into her 70's. She was the one that would take the order, bring out the 50 pound bags of ice from the freezer, and load them herself. A strong woman and a proud Woodlander.
Everyone who met Erma Jean, met a kind, family-loving friend. She was very honest and trustworthy. She was an example of kindness and giving. She loves family, friends and made sure to contact and schedule gatherings. She was the glue that kept a once shattered family together. She was a gentle, loving caretaker to many holding there hands as they passed. A true angel in both life and death.
Above it all, those who loved her should take comfort in this, On December 5, 2023, She not only met her maker, she reunited with her true love, her husband, Cecil and her son Donald. She dreamed of this day and God has now made it possible! Rest in Peace! Go enjoy! you've done your good works, and we will see you soon enough!
She loved nature and especially flowers and animals. She knew them by name.
A graveside service will be held in Erma Jean's (Snookie's) honor on December 14th, 2023 at 10 am. She will be buried next to Cecil, Donnie, and Brandy Lee at the Vacaville- Elmira Cemetery, 522 Elmira Road in Vacaville, California.

Due to the hour of the graveside service any flowers must be delivered to the funeral home no later than 4 pm on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Anything delivered on Thursday, December 14 will not be delivered to the cemetery.
