Eric Morad Nejadian

September 29, 1944 – February 5, 2024

We are deeply saddened to announce that Eric Morad Nejadian, 79, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly after a brief battle with cancer on February 5, 2024.

A very proud man of Armenian descent, Eric was born in Tehran, Iran, on September 29, 1944, the son of Voskan Matirous Nejad and Lousick Dolmariamian Orumiyeh.  Eric lived a full and vibrant life.

After serving in the military and managing a construction company, Eric left his native country to pursue new horizons and further his education in America.

A seeker of knowledge, Eric had a passion for higher education, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a Master’s of Science in Urban Design, both from Pratt Institute in New York.

In 1974, Eric returned to Iran, where as the director of an architectural firm, he led the design and construction of two new towns and collaborated with world renowned Architect Philip Johnson.

Due to the political unrest in Iran, he moved his young family to Santa Barbara, California where he could settle down and expand his family.  However, he would soon discover that the real opportunity for growth and real estate development was in Sacramento.

Hence, he began his long and illustrious career in Real Estate Development, General Contracting and, finally his long association in Real Estate sales as a Broker with Re/Max.

Eric completed many projects throughout the Sacramento and Carmichael areas, including award winning Brentwood Estates.

During his long career with ReMax, he accumulated many designations along with numerous accolades for his successful commitment to professionalism and outstanding sales.

Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his beloved children, Aida, Edna and Alex along with his dear grandchildren, Alma and Raphael, whom were the light in his later years!

Also survived by his cherished sister, Seda Adjamian and brother, Patrick Nejadian, along with his nephews and niece, and countless friends!

The family would also like to thank his loving caregivers, Wanda Brittin Perry and Sonny Drissia, who remained dedicated to Eric until his final moments.

Also, the family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to his longtime friend and associate, Eric Waddell, who brought great joy to Eric with their weekly lunches, camaraderie and a glass or two of wine!

Eric led his life on his own terms, a unique and exceptional man, whose warmth, sense of humor and intellect will be missed by all.

Rest in Peace, dear Eric.  To a life well lived!

Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Park.  The family will hold a private commemoration in Glendale, California.  A memorial service in Sacramento will be announced at a later date.
