Elva Loree Parry, beloved wife, mother, grandma, and grandma great passed away in Roseville, CA on August 3, 2025. Loree was born on November 7, 1936 in Hanford California, the eighth out of nine children to Lewis William Seymour and Elva Estelle (Hanks) Seymour. Loree met her husband Douglas Parry while they were students at Brigham Young University. They were married for 45 years and enjoyed traveling, and working outside in their garden together, which the family lovingly called Parry Park, until his passing in 2003. Loree was the loving mother to Cynthia Parry, Melody (Steven) Bell, Gregory Parry and Brad Parry. Grandma to Stephanie Bell, Greg (Tia) Bell, Shane (Megan) Bell and Amanda (Nikko) Parry. Grandma Great to Addison, Carter, Aurora Bell, Ayla and Bryson Smith. Loree loved her family and had a special place in her heart for her son-in-law Steve. She shared a special bond with her surviving sister, Emma Lou Poulson, and especially enjoyed their annual backpacking trip to Rattlesnake Bridge with their children and grandchildren. She was an amazing mom and loved spending time with her grandchildren watching them put on skits and making cookies with them. She was a life long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and held many compassionate service positions throughout the years. She leaves behind a wonderful legacy of love and will be greatly missed.
