        Eleanor Amy Fong passed away in Sacramento at the age of 94. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, George Lum Fong, in 2015. Eleanor was born in Sacramento to Russell and Mabel Fong and was the youngest of 8 children: Earl (Norma), David (Dorothy), William, Corrine (Thomas), Edna (Mike), Evelyn (Forney), and Lorraine. Eleanor became the last surviving member of her family in 2023 when her sister Evelyn Lee passed. Eleanor and George had 3 children: Bruce, Stephanie, and Scott. They lived in Walnut Grove for most of their lives where George was a farmer. Eleanor operated a jewelry store in the Sacramento area for many years with the help of Bruce and Stephanie. During retirement, Eleanor and George did some traveling and enjoyed their two grandkids Zachary and Zaron. She also enjoyed cooking and watching cooking shows. She is survived by her children Bruce, Stephanie, and Scott, grandchildren Zachary and Zaron, and cat Gabby. Memorial service will be held on May 15th, East Lawn Memorial Park, 4300 Folsom Blvd, Sacramento.
