It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Edward Fleming, who passed away on New Year's Eve, December 31st, 2025 in Sacramento.

Edward Fleming was born on June 21, 1962 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky to Edward Oliver Fleming Sr. and Jessie Pearl Fleming.

Edward built a life defined by hard work, pride in what he created, and a deep commitment to the people around him. He opened his own company, Theater Maintenance and Services, and later transitioned into several managerial roles. Over the years, his dedication and leadership earned him the role of Regional Director at Pride Industries, where he was respected for both his professionalism and compassion for others.

Edward met Emerita while on Air force assignment in the Philippines. They fell in love and married on January 16,1988 for 38 years and had three children. Edward was devoted to his family and loved being at the center of life’s everyday moments—showing up, helping out, and making sure everyone felt supported.

A passionate home cook, Edward especially loved to grill and smoke meat, and he took real joy in feeding the people he loved. Whether it was a casual get-together or a special occasion, he was happiest when cooking for family and friends.

Edward is survived by his wife, Emerita Fleming, and his children: Edward Fleming III, Eric Fleming, Erin Fleming, Christopher Salazar, and his entire beloved family in the Philippines.

Edward will be remembered for his big heart, his generosity, and the steady, caring way he looked after those he loved. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and warmth that will be carried forward by all who knew him.
