Edna Yee

Edna passed peacefully after a decade long battle with pancreatic cancer. Loving daughter, sister, and aunt. Loyal friend. Recently retired from 30+ years with UCDMC as a dedicated nurse that always advocated for her patients. She was blessed with a strong spirit and positive attitude. Fiercely independent. Actively enjoyed gardening and exploring the farmer’s market. Preceded in death by her father (Joe). Survived by her mother (Sally), siblings (Ellen, Genie, Elmer), nieces/nephew (Jasmine, Emily, Nathan), and trusted friend Andrew. Fondly remembered by a host of cousins, friends, co-workers, and neighbors. Safe and whole again in the care of the Lord, in whom her faith was steadfast and true. Family is especially thankful to Dr. Kim (oncologist) and assistance provided by Dr. Low and Dr. Takeda. 

Memorial service/visitation will be held on June 18, 2022 at 1:00 pm at East Lawn Memorial Park.  4300 Folsom Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95819.  Interment to follow at 4:00 pm
