Edwin William Warmby, Jr., August 3, 1933-February 18, 2022, Wilton, CA.
It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our Patriarch. He was a Christian Brother, Sacramento City College Graduate, Veteran of the United States Army, landscaper, and later owner and successful businessman of POW Wholesale Nursery in Wilton, CA.
Billâs spirit and joy of life endeared him to everyone whom he met. He was predeceased by his first love of his life and wife, Ann Puccinelli and later in life his second love of his life and wife, Christa Kropp-Leuthold. In retirement, he traveled the world with Christa until her passing in 2016. His love of life and passion for family and friends, of countless rounds of golf with his golfing buddies, and of Friday lunches with family were highlights of his later years.
Bill is survived by his sister Betty Binsfeld, son Edwin III (Alyce) Warmby, daughter Diann (Hunter) Johnson, stepdaughters Denice (Henry) Hornbaker and Renee (George) Panagos. He is dearly loved by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at East Lawn Cemeteries Funeral Home, 9189 East Stockton Boulevard, Elk Grove, CA, on Sunday, March 20, from 1:00PM-4:00PM.
