Doris Marie Hart, 82 years old of Sacramento California, sunrise of February 24th, 1943 and sunset, October 20, 2025.

Doris Marie Hart was born in Shreveport, Louisiana to her proud parents: Reverend Cornelius Benjamin Holmes and Susie Mae Holmes on February 24, 1943.
Doris was baptized at an early age by her Father, who was the founding Pastor at Morning Star Baptist Church in Sacramento, California. Doris attended and completed school in Sacramento. She was employed as a case packer at Campbell Soup for twenty-five years. Doris met and married Beora Hart. During this union, they were blessed with three sons and two daughters. Alongside her husband, Doris was actively involved in the church. She taught Sunday School, directed and sang in the choir. She was also part of the Order of Eastern Stars.
Doris displayed her love and compassion for children by becoming a foster parent. Her goal was to provide a safe, stable and nurturing environment. She mentored, taught self-worth and responsibility.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend C.B. Holmes and Susie Mae Holmes; Her beloved daughter Vickie Renee Shaver and her ex husband Beora Hart Sr.
Doris leaves to cherish her memories, her surviving children: Robert Lee Hart and (wife) Petra Hart of Montgomery, Alabama; Diane Marie Henderson of Sacramento; Beora Hart Jr of Sacramento and Jason Hart, also of Sacramento; Two siblings: Roy Lee Holmes Sr. and Susie Mae Flakes. As well as a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
We, the family, wish to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all of you. We acknowledge the expressions of love and sympathy during our time of grief. We will remain forever grateful for your kindness, support and thoughtfulness.
