Don Lewis Hammon

Don Lewis Hammon, 90 years, passed peacefully on May 15, 2022, after a brief illness. Don is survived by his four daughters, Randi Bault (Marvin Bault, dec.), Donna Comer (Don Comer), Diane "Red" Carey (Mitch Carey) and Carolina Keller. Don loved his family and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Don was a life long residenct of West Scramento growing up in Bryte with his grandparents, Marie and Alexei Verasoff and later moving to Arlington Oaks where he resided for over 65 years. He was a plumber by trade and belonged to Local 447 Plumbers and Pipefitters. Don was also in the Naval Reserves. Don was an avid sportsman in his younger days, loving fishing, and duck/pheasant hunting. Don also loved listening to Farmer Fred and prided himself in his knowledge regarding his many fruit trees and grafting trees. Don loved to socialize with many of his life long friends in West Sacramento (Charlene, Jesse, Ray, Bob, Terry and many others). Happy Fishing, Don. We all will miss you.
