Dolores J. Aldred, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, died peacefully on February 1, 2026 in Sacramento, CA. She was born on April 2, 1934, in Hayward, CA.

The widow of Donald M. Aldred, Dolores loved being a Registered Nurse and an amateur photographer.

Known for her strong, adventurous, and dynamic personality, Dolores embraced life fully. She was an avid movie buff, found joy and comfort in music, and loved reading literature and history. She never lost her sense of wonder or independence. She loved her family fiercely and took great pride in each generation.

She is survived by her children: Donald, Denise , Aaron, and Andrew; her grandchildren: Samuel, Philip, Warren, Coreen, Jeffery and Alexandria; and her great-grandchildren: Ryan, Ethan, Gabriella, Theodore, Niara and Montgomery.

Dolores will be remembered for her resilience, warmth, sharp mind, and the deep love she gave to her family. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched, both personally and professionally.
