Diana Lyn Trent

Diana Lyn Trent was born February 1955 and died October 2024. Predeceasing her are her parents, Jim and Effie Trapp, and her brother, also Jim Trapp. She is survived by her husband Ron, her sons, Chris, Brian, Greg, and Doug, her nephew Mason, and her grandchildren Audrey, Olivia, Nicole, and Alexander. Diana was born and raised in California, living most of her life in Elk Grove, where she grew up and raised her own family. She was active in the Boy Scouts and enjoyed traveling with Ron and their friends. She was an avid reader and ran her own used bookstore, Trent’s Bookshelf, for a number of years. She will be missed. Graveside services will be held Friday Nov. 8 at 10:00 am at East Lawn Mortuary in Elk Grove (9189 East Stockton Blvd.). A reception will follow at her family’s home. Friends and colleagues are welcome to join them in paying respects. In lieu of flowers, donations to Shriners Hospitals for Children are encouraged.
