Diana was born on August 15, 1953, and was adopted by Marion and Gale Dunn. She was raised in South Sacramento near 17th Street and Florin Road. Diana attended John F. Kennedy High School, where she graduated with the Class of 1970.
Diana worked for the University of California, Berkeley, as a Financial Manager for over 20 years before retiring. Following her retirement, she continued giving back to the community by volunteering and working at the American Cancer Society Discovery Thrift Shop for more than 10 years.
Diana is survived by her loving husband, Julian Brown; her oldest son, Dexter Bradley; her daughter, Jewel Brown; and her youngest son, Zachary Brown. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Dexter Bradley Jr., Laniah Brown, Zariah Brown, and Dayanna Bradley, as well as her cherished dog, Sha Sha.
Diana was a true free spirit—a gentle, hippie soul at heart. She loved gardening, thrift shopping, and surrounding herself with the simple joys of life. She was kind, sweet-hearted, and had a genuine love for everyone fortunate enough to be part of her circle.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
