Diana Castillo Barker, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025, at the age of 75.

Born on June 15, 1950, in the Philippines, Diana was one of eleven children of Victor Castillo and Adelina Gat-eb. From a young age, she learned the values of hard work, faith, and family that would guide her throughout her life.

Diana began her career as a caretaker in Egypt, where she met and later married her husband Kamal. She later returned to the Philippines to raise her son, Omar, and eventually divorced Kamal. Later she immigrated to the United States in 1984 after meeting Charlie.

A true workaholic and caregiver at heart, Diana dedicated many years to her calling as a Certified Nursing Assistant, often working two full-time jobs at local convalescent homes. Her compassion and tireless dedication touched countless lives. Even as her health declined and she was medically retired following a diagnosis of kidney failure, Diana remained strong in spirit and faith. She spent her later years living with her son Omar and cherished every moment with her grandson, Logan.

Diana was a devout Protestant and an active member of the United Church of Christ in the Philippines, faithfully attending Sunday Zoom services whenever she could. She will be remembered for her kindness, resilience and friendship.

She is survived by her son, Omar, and her grandson, Logan, along with her many siblings, relatives, and friends around the world who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Diana will find her final resting place in the Philippines with the rest of her siblings and family.
