David Shigeru Balaba Sr

On Tuesday, May 24, 2022, David went home to be with the Lord. Even though he battled many health conditions, he never let it bring him down. He was positive and joyful till the end. His strength and grace will never be forgotten.

David was born on April 6, 1962, in Sacramento, CA to Ignacio and Toshiko Balaba.

He is survived by his wife Annette Balaba, daughters Stephanie Martinez and Kristine Gilmore, his mother Toshiko Rudberg and his uncle Mas Sato.

David is now with his dad Ignacio Balaba, his brother Benny Balaba, his sister Kellene Balaba and his son David "Junior" Balaba.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Elk Grove Pavilion in Elk Grove Regional Park from 3pm – 7pm on Friday, June 10, 2022, at 9950 Elk Grove Florin Road Elk Grove, CA 95624. All family and friends are welcome to come celebrate with us and remember David.
