David Michael Jennings 2006 – 2025
David Michael Jennings, 18, of Pensacola, Florida, formerly of Antelope, California, passed away unexpectedly.
David was a bright and driven young man who lived life with purpose and pride. A recent high school graduate who finished a year early, David joined the U.S. Navy at just 17. He completed boot camp and was continuing his training in Pensacola, working toward a future of service to his country. He approached every challenge with strength, dedication, and honor — qualities that defined his character and the way he lived.
He is survived by his mother Danielle (Harry), brother Brian (Laura, Aria, and Michael), sister Amber (Martin, Mason, Abel, and William), and grandparents William (Jacque) and Sharon all of whom love him deeply and will carry his memory forever. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael, his grandmother, Sharon Riddell, and his grandfather, Thomas Jennings.
David had a deep love for sports — whether he was cheering on the Nebraska Cornhuskers or passionately following the Sacramento Kings, his enthusiasm was contagious. But beyond the games, it was his laughter, his loyal heart, and his unwavering determination that made him unforgettable.
He was a son, a brother, an uncle, a friend, and a sailor — but above all, David was a light in the lives of those who knew him. His time with us was far too short, but his impact will be felt forever.
Though his time was brief, David’s life was filled with love, service, and a fierce sense of purpose. He will be missed more than words can say — may his wings carry him far, and may his spirit remain always close.
Memorial service details will be announced at a later date.
