On August 2nd 2021 David Edward Edgmon passed away into God’s graces after a long and valiant battle with Cancer. A warrior throughout life and a fighter until the very end David was 70 years young.
Born and raised in Visalia to Joel Ray & Emma Jean Edgmon, David spread his wings and true to his gypsy soul travelled across the country with the carnival circuit before settling into the quiet little Delta town of Hood, Ca.
David was the ultimate animal lover and took advantage of every opportunity to go camping and fishing. David had the innate ability to always see the beauty in nature. Artistically gifted, annoyingly humorous and a surprisingly good Karaoke singer, David’s song has ended but the melody will forever linger on.
David was preceded in death by his father and mother Joel Ray Edgmon & Emma Jean Davidson, brother James Ray Edgmon and nephew Justin Taylor Gauntt.
Beloved brother of Mary Gauntt-Jimenez and Scott Davidson. Uncle to Christina Jimenez, Great Uncle to Dominique Rose Phelps, Jeff Gauntt & Charles John Taylor Duff. Great-Great Uncle to Kataleya Macias.
David leaves behind a wide circle of friends and acquaintances.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 10am in the Chapel of East Lawn Mortuary, 9189 East Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove California 95624, with Pastor Tom Norvell.
