David Alan Dodge

David “Alan” Dodge passed away at the age of 69, on July 9th, 2024. He was preceded in death by his mother Virginia “Ginny” Mary (Poneleit) Boylan, father Harold Emerson Dodge, and infant sister Cynthia Mary Dodge. He is survived by his beloved wife, Alice Dodge, siblings Wayne Dodge, Lisa Dodge, and Sue Dodge, stepsons Jonathan Lee and Justin Lee, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also included as family would be his close and dear friends, neighbors, and coworkers who all held a special place in his life. During his spare time, he enjoyed yoga, cycling, pickleball, and jigsaw puzzles. David was born on October 27th, 1954 in Bridgeport, CN. He attended Union Endicott High School and colleges including California State University, Hayward where he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration, and a Master of Business Administration at Golden Gate University. He was a veteran who served in the military for 4 years. He went on to work over 17 years as an Operations Manager at Intel followed by a position at the state of California as an Information Technology (IT) professional for 6 years. He spent his final years in El Dorado Hills, California with the close support of his loving wife and stepsons. A memorial service in celebration of David’s life will be held for friends and family on July 26th, 2024 at East Lawn Memorial Park, 4300 Folsom Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95819 at 11:00AM
