Darryl Kuroko

Darryl Kuroko born March 25, 1947, left this world peacefully at home with his family by his side on January 31, 2023 at age 75. Born to Henry and Kikuko Kuroko of Sacramento, the youngest of five children.  Preceded in death by his wife Sally (Omaye) Kuroko of 40 years. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Stefanie (Andrew) Gomez, sons’ Grant and Barkley Kuroko and grandchildren Seth, Samuel and Amiya. Preceded in death by his siblings Lily (Hisashi) Nagai, Kiyo (Frank) Kono, Clara Kaihara and Richard  Kuroko.  Also survived by brother-in-law Kaz Kaihara and sisters-in-law Doris Kuroko, Irene (Yosh, deceased) Onoyama, Jeanette (Kenji) Yoshimura, Nanci (Mike) Omaye-Byrne and many loving nephews and nieces. 

A memorial service will be held at the Sacramento Betsuin Church at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2023. Otoki to follow.
