When WW11 ended Dan was Honorably Discharged and he traveled back to Hopedale, Mass. to let his parents know about Alice, that he found the love of his life returning back to Sacramento where Dan and Alice were married on May 25, 1946 starting their life and celebrating 75 joyful years together.
